Lindy in the Park, the longest-running Lindy Hop swing dance event in the San Francisco Bay Area, is turning 19!
On Sunday, August 16, 2015, come celebrate 19 years of free swing dancing in Golden Gate Park with a special Anniversary edition of Lindy in the Park. To celebrate, we’re having a potluck picnic and extending the music and dancing hours until at least 3:00pm. Come out and party, dance, see your friends, reunite with old friends, make new friends, share some delicious food, and have a great time!

The regular Lindy in the Park location: the south sidewalk area along John F. Kennedy Drive between the de Young Museum and the north entrance to the Music Concourse. (Note that the 8th Ave. entrance and JFK Dr. are closed to car traffic on Sundays.) Google Maps for Lindy in the Park, San Francisco
Please help spread the word!

Lindy in the Park will return the following Sunday, May 24, at its regular time (11:00AM-2:00PM) and location (weather permitting, of course) and resume its normal weekly schedule.

We WILL be having Lindy in the Park this Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015, at our regular time (11:00am-2:00pm) and place (JFK Drive, Golden Gate Park), unless it’s rained out (unlikely, but we’ll post a cancellation announcement on our website and facebook page by 10:00am Sunday if we cancel–otherwise, you can assume it’s happening).
Hop to see you there!
