You better watch out, you better not cry, better not pout, I’m telling you why. The Holiday edition of Lindy in the Park is coming to town!
On Sunday, December 21, 2014, there will be a special Holiday edition of Lindy in the Park. LitP will be decked out in holiday cheer, with swingin’ holiday music and treats! Bring your holiday spirit: wear Santa hats, dress in Christmas colors, and bring some finger foods, treats, or drinks to share!
Santa’s helpers will bring hot cocoa, hot apple cider, cups and paper supplies. Elves are welcome to come at about 11:00 am to help decorate. And rumor has it that there might be a special a cappella performance!
Same LitP time (11:00am-2:00pm). Same LitP place (JFK Drive, Golden Gate Park).
Hope to see you!
We may be crazy, but if you’re reading this, you probably are too!
After much deliberation, we have decided to have Lindy in the Park today. But we reserve the right to cancel early at any time! Bring your rain gear, and see you at the park!
Lindy in the Park is in the news! Check out CBS Sunday Morning on Facebook, or watch the show at 9:25am this morning.
Lindy in the Park, the longest-running Lindy Hop swing dance event in the San Francisco Bay Area, is turning 18! No longer a minor event, but a full-grown institution!
