On January 1, 2009, start the NEW YEAR off right with a special LITE edition of Lindy in the Park!
Enjoy FREE (as always) swing dancing to the extraordinary and very danceable tunes of DJ JEFF YIH!
Happening at the same time, same place as the regular LitP (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Golden Gate Park).
But, remember: it’s on THURSDAY (Jan. 1), not Sunday!
“LITE” means that we use a smaller sound system, and it’s endorsed by, but not run by, the official LitP crew. Also, in the spirit of the holiday, LitP’s teachers get the day off, too! Which means: NO SWING DANCE LESSON. Just three hours of fabulous dancing. For free! That’s LitP – LITE!

I came from Sonoma to dance at Golden Gate Park for my first time. I was delighted to discover such a friendly dance venue. We generated our own heat by just keeping the beat.
