Yes, it was a foggy day in SF town, but the festive atmosphere at Lindy in the Park’s 14th Anniversary celebration more than made up for it!

A big thank you to everyone who attended, who brought food to share, and who helped cleaned up at the end.
The Anniversary is definitely something we all look forward to each summer — it’s pretty amazing when you think about it: THIRTEEN years. Wow.
People were asking about prints of the group photo, so this year we’re making them available online.
It’ll be $10 for a basic 8″ x 10″ print. We’ll also offer FRAMED prints, but because the frame and framing service is quite costly, these prints can only be offered at a premium.
Proceeds will go towards covering LitP administrative costs, e.g. webhosting, domain registration, gasoline, etc.

On January 1, 2009, start the NEW YEAR off right with a special LITE edition of Lindy in the Park!
Enjoy FREE (as always) swing dancing to the extraordinary and very danceable tunes of DJ JEFF YIH!
Happening at the same time, same place as the regular LitP (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Golden Gate Park).
But, remember: it’s on THURSDAY (Jan. 1), not Sunday!
“LITE” means that we use a smaller sound system, and it’s endorsed by, but not run by, the official LitP crew. Also, in the spirit of the holiday, LitP’s teachers get the day off, too! Which means: NO SWING DANCE LESSON. Just three hours of fabulous dancing. For free! That’s LitP – LITE!
Wishing you a happy 2009 and hope to see you there!
And yes, LitP will still take place on Sundays as usual, weather permitting of course.
